Swadlincote Ski and Snowboard Centre is located in the heart of England with major cities such as Birmingham and Nottingham only a 40 minute drive away. It is open throughout the year for recreational Skiing, Snowboarding and Blading with lessons available for every standard.....If you want to learn how to ski or want to improve on your current skills group ski lessons are ideal. The lessons are divided into skill levels so all skiers are placed in groups that are of relevant skill levels (1 Beginner 7 Advanced). We also try to keep the maximum number of participants to 12 per instructor for adults and juniors, and 6 per instructor for tots. As you advance through the skill levels you can keep track of your progress with a skill level card that we give you......A lot of people want to be able to use the ski slopes in their free time with out being in a tutored environment. If you want to use the slope without an instructor being present you must be of a certain standard. When you have become a Level 4 skier or above we believe that you are competent enough to be allowed on the slope by yourself.............If you are interested in learning to snowboard, or just want to improve your skills then group snowboarding lessons are perfect. Before you join your ability is assessed so we can make sure you are in the correct group, at the correct skill level .......It is natural for most people to want to practice on the slope by themselves. We believe that when you become a Level C boarder or higher you are competent enough to be allowed on the slope without an instructor....
