Biggin Hall is an historic house of 17th century origin, 1,000 feet above sea level. Centrally situated in the Peak District National Park, in peaceful open countryside.
The home of Sir Richard and Lady FitzHerbert and their children. The present hall was built in 1609, much of the original Jacobean craftmanship survives and there is a unique 1757 Gothic fireplace. The guided tour passes thorough different rooms where ancestral FitzHerberts gaze down from portraits by Kauffman, Batoni and Wright of Derby.
